There are many wonderful locally-owned small businesses in Kona. One of my favorites is Doggy Detail.
This dog grooming business is just a few doors down from Kona Impact in the Old Industrial area. They have been in business a little more than a year now, and they seem to be growing all the time.
I am a customer of Doggy Detail. I take my Golden Retriever there every few months for a full grooming: wash and trim. Each time I’ve taken my dog there, he comes back looking great and feeling much cooler and less itchy.
One thing I love to look at with locally-owned businesses is their online reviews. Doggy Detail has excellent Yelp and Google Business reviews. This tells me that they have done a great job taking care of the grooming needs of Kona’s canines.
