Print Services Projects

What can you do?

If you have seen it in print, we can design it for you. We have made the following; product labels, presentation folders, brochures, business cards, flyers/brochures, apparel designs, stationery, letterhead, promotional materials, rack cards, car magnets, window displays and menus. We can do any of these in English, Japanese and Chinese.

What do I receive?

You are purchasing the final product—a print ready file. For print products, you are entitled to a pdf or other suitable for print file of your project on disc or in an email. Whatever you need for your printer (or ours) will be provided. If you have special needs, like color separations or your product in a special format, we are happy to provide them for you.

You are not purchasing a template, editable files, rejected concepts or the components of any design. In other words, you are purchasing the final product and not what went into making the product. The only exception to this is logo projects, where we provide the logo in seven different formats, including editable formats.

If you would like an editable template, we can offer it at a separate cost.

What about printing?

We use several sources that are able to print most of our clients’ projects quickly and at significant cost savings. If you have your own printer, you can use the files we provide you. If you would like us to arrange for printing, we do add a reasonable markup to cover our costs for uploading the files, pre-paying and handling the delivery of the products.

Will the color on my screen or printout be the same as my printed brochures?

It’s usually very close. We typically work with a printer that has very good, but not perfect color matching. The benefit to you is significant cost savings. If you need exact color matching, there are commercial printers that specialize in exact color matching. They are much more expensive, a cost that our clients seldom find worthwhile. That said, this is an option. We can show you many examples of output from our commercial printer of choice.

Note that all monitors and printers will display colors differently. No two monitors or home printers will have the same calibrations. Even if we specify colors in the document, a printer may be calibrated differently.

Do you provide copywriting services?

If you would like us to write your text or provide significant editing services, let us know when we are preparing your price quote.

As a service to our clients, do provide basic proofreading on our print projects.
