At Kona Impact, we make a strong effort to buy our supplies and services locally. As a Kona-based small business, we know that money spent locally, stays local and helps keep the community vibrant and stable. One business that we have been patronizing for years is Island Tech. Now, the circle is complete and Island Tech has become our client.

Island Tech is one of the true gems in Kailua-Kona. What started out over 20 years ago as an office equipment store, is now the leading computer store in Kona. They can sell you a hard to find ink cartridge, fix your computer and help you set up a home or office network. Best of all, their prices are reasonable and their service and knowledge are unsurpassed in Kona. Imagine that: great service, a locally-owned and operated business and fair prices!

One the challenges for the Island Tech website was to convey the breadth of their products and services without making the website too dense. We accomplished this by organizing their services into four buckets: computer repair, computer parts and accessories, office equipment sales and office equipment repairs. A summary of the their main items are on the home page with a link to a dedicated page for each category. We did this all without putting the text in graphics--a definite no-no if we want the website to be optimal for the search engines.
